Education Qualification for Tamil Nadu SET 2018

• Candidate should have secured at least 55% marks for General/ OBC (Creamy Layer) category and 50% marks for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) / SC/ ST & Persons with Disability in Master’s or equivalent examination from a recognized University / Institutions recognized by UGC New Delhi in subjects like Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences, Computer Sciences & Application, Electronics Sciences, Library & Information Sciences.
• Candidate who have appeared or will be appearing at Master’s Degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited or whose qualifying examination have been displayed may also appear for TNSET 2018 Examination.
• Candidate should have done Post Graduation in respective subject can also fill the application form for Tami Nadu SET 2018. In case candidate did not find the subject of their Post Graduation in the list of TNSET 2018 subject then candidate may appear in UGC-NET /UGC-CSIR NET which is held twice a year.

TNSET Exam Pattern 2018- TNSET 2018

Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test will consist three papers. All the three papers will consist Objective Type question of MCQ based. These paper will held on 04th March, 2018 (Sunday) in three separate session as follows :

Paper-I : This paper will be of general nature, intended to assess the teaching / research aptitude of candidate. It will designed to test, reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of candidate. Each question will carry 02 marks.

Paper-II : It will consist of 50 Objective Type compulsory question which based on subject selected by candidate.

Paper-III : It will consist of 75 Objective Type compulsory question which based on subject selected by candidate. Each question will carry 02 Marks.
